Founder and CEO
Javier Romano has over 20 years of experience in urological sonography and over 10 years of experience in urological pathology. Javier founded a.D.i., a mobile diagnostic company, to provide a targeted fusion biopsy solution to urologists in Florida.
Javier worked for Avero Diagnostics in the role of Pathology Service Manager and was involved with the clinical trials for PCA3.
Javier also mobilized Cryo surgery using the Endocare system and has performed several hundred Cryoablations of the prostate with a vast number of urologists in Florida.
Javier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration from Barry University, and is a certified medical sonographer (RDMS).
Patricia M. Romano
Founder and CFO
Patricia M. Romano started her medical career in Urology in 2000. During this time, she also did consulting work for other Urologists who were starting their practice.
She created an "Error Proof" system providing solutions to run a practice as error free as possible. She founded a.D.i. in 2007 with her husband. Shortly thereafter, she began to run the company, and together they expanded the business which now provides services throughout Florida and Puerto Rico.
In August 2013, they incorporated Biojet™ MRI Fusion Target Biopsy to their business, making Fusion by a.D.i. the first mobile target biopsy company in the United States.
